does require that ptyhon extensions need new |

ebuilds(forked) for the python2.1 slot though. (e.g. |

egenix-mx-base-py21-2.0.4.ebuild) |

This way it's possible to emerge an extension to |

virtual/python and virtual/python-2.1. This a bit of |

a hack, until a feature like this is built into |

portage. |
