5 Yeah, it's not just "baselayout" either. I've had "/etc/fstab" and
6 "/etc/rc.conf" nuked on me a couple of times! Just yesterday, "upgrading" to KDE
7 3.2 did it to me. It took me half an hour to figure out what happened, and I had
8 to boot into my alternate OS (Knoppix) and mount the Gentoo partition to clean
9 things up.
