10 I don't agree to this at all. For one thing git is very resource
11 intensive compared to rsync mirroring, and there are anyways things
12 that needs to be properly prepared in a staging area before being
13 presented to a user. For one thing we can't expect users to keep an up
14 to date copy of all gentoo developer's OpenPGP keys to verify each git
15 commit, additionally this will cause issues with retirement and
16 similar situations (certificate revocation, subkey rotations, expiries).
