Hello All,

I have a similar problem like yours.

My /usr/portage/distfiles directory is a nfs mounted filesystem but since some
time there was some changes to portage that makes it unuseable because some
permissions are not set the right way. There is write access for everyone on
the exported NFS directory.

The Output of portage looks like this:

>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-admin/kportage-0.6.1 to /
!!! File system problem. (ReadOnly? Out of space?) !!! Perhaps: rm -Rf /var/tmp/portage !!! [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: '/usr/portage/distfiles/cvs-src' changing the permissions of the NFS exported dir and the cvs-src subdir didn't helped. I'm not a NFS Junkie so i don't know what to do... When i do # umount /usr/portage/distfiles everything works fine but i didn't have a shared disfiles directory. Kind regards hanez On Sunday 16 March 2003 23:23, Norberto BENSA wrote:
