16 It worked well for me - there was a decrease in boot time.. I could not tell
17 you by how much, but it seemed to be about 25% quicker. Of course, that could
18 just be my expectation of it working and my mind playing tricks.. :-)

20 I don't have a lot of extras load on startup - I start apache and sql and
21 other hogs when I need to do dev work, so it will probably be those people
22 with the most items set to load on startup will see the greatest benefit of
23 this. Plus, my system is shiny and new so perhaps older systems will also get
24 greater benefit of this.
