Go change an ebuild or three in one of the KDE packages... then run |

"repoman scan" from that directory. That is the time just for the |

scan. The commit stage takes even longer, since it runs the scan, then |

does the commit. Plus there are back-end scans for many things on the |
| 9 |
CVS server itself, things like a Manifest. These all take time. |
