i just wrote & added a new package to portage: |

it basically does for LCD's what bootsplash does for your frame buffer ... |

currently though it only supports machines ive been able to test on ... that |

means HPPA machines with a PDC and MIPS Cobalt RaQ/Qube's |

just go down into /lib/rcscripts/lcdsplash/ and use the files in there as a |

template ... then edit /etc/lcdsplash.conf and set LCD_MODULE appropriately |
