[gentoo-dev] Japanese ebuilds

I'm thinking of making some Japanese ebuilds and was wondering...

1) Is there interest in having Japanese support, eg ebuilds,
for Gentoo? I'm thinking of starting with:

kinput		# japanese X input method
jfonts		# japanese fonts
kterm		# kanji ternminal
jvim		# japanese vim


2) If gentoo starts providing localalized ebuilds, what is the
best way to go about it? There should be some thought/planning
first, no?
