vdr and its environment has been quite productive and produced more than 130 |

plugins for vdr. |

Not all of them are suitable for inclusion into the portage tree but |

nevertheless I would propose the creation of the category media-vdr for vdr, |

its plugins and other related packages. |

For those not knowing what vdr is: vdr (=video disk recorder) is a program to |

turn a normal pc into an advanced television set-top-box with hard disc |
| 12 |
recording, timeshifting, etc. |
