14 i don't think it's hard to implement (both of them).
15 actually what you describe would be
16 the natural approach for dialup,
17 i.e. connect (not necessarily as root)
18 emerge (as root)
19 disconnect at will (again, not necessarily as root)

21 on the other hand the "fetchfirst" approach could be of dialup-independent interest ;)

23 i just don't understand this depgraph stuff, all i need to know, is:
24 how do i get the list of the ebuilds that are required ?
25 in the depgraph methods are a lot of "print" statements and i couldn't see
26 where this plain list gets stored.
