13 Honestly, id never contacted anyone. I happened to run across TTimo's
14 posts on www.linuxgames.com right around the same time that a bug was
15 filed in Bugzilla. There has really been no "official" statement of any
16 kind from Splash Damage, id Software, or Activision. Because of this,
17 you can essentially consider my actions "proactive" in removing the
18 problem before any "official" response or request was done. I feel
19 things were carried out very poorly by posting this sort of thing to a
20 public forum rather than coming to us directly, which is why I have
21 chosen to simply remove the problem pending further discussion.
