A while ago Renat (rl03@g.o) provided virtuals for packages that |

depend on a web server. Currently many of the web applications |

depended on Apache or don't pull in a web server at all which is of |

course problematic. |

If you maintain a package that requires a web server for publication |

you should make the application depend on the corresponding virtual: |

virtual/httpd-basic : if it only needs static HTML publishing |

virtual/httpd-cgi : if it needs a server with cgi support |
| 18 |
|
| 19 |
virtual/httpd-fastcgi: if it needs a server with fastcgi support |
