Fair enough - though the relevant part is the short commentary preceding |

The deblob program(s) previously used sed and awk instead of python |

or perl and seem to have switched more because of performance than |
| 14 |
because of any features in either python or perl. A quick look into |
| 15 |
the source code seems to confirm that there's no strong tie to Python. |
