Ok, ow, that was painful. But it's all done now after 5.5 hours of work,
with a few cleanups pending.

If you have commit notifications that went to a mailing list, and you
are no longer receiving, we'd like to know about it.

gentoo-doc-cvs

If there are any other breakages, we'd like to know about them as well.

P.S. /etc/motd does not play nicely with CVS loginfo hooks (the rest of the
commit works fine, just not the hook).
