16 Correct - this belongs in news. Following any mailing list (let alone
17 being able to post on it) wouldn't have helped in this case.

19 Under-use of news items has been an issue historically for Gentoo,
20 though it has greatly improved. In general devs should be thinking
21 about the impact of large changes and communicating it using news.
22 mgorny's suggestion in his new thread would probably also help in that
23 regard.
