We just got a bug, |
2 |
|
3 |
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565500 |
4 |
|
5 |
due to the `uptime` binary changing locations in |
6 |
sys-process/procps-3.3.11-r2. The nagios-plugins package picks up the |
7 |
location of `uptime` while it's installing, so when users upgrade |
8 |
procps, some plugins stop working. |
9 |
|
10 |
Is there anything I can do from the nagios-plugins side to prevent this? |
11 |
A subslot dependency seems wrong, since it looks like the subslot on |
12 |
procps is tied to a library. Should I just tell people to re-emerge and |
13 |
hope the executable stays put in the future? |
