8 Unfortunately in this case there is only one cat, he has only one skin
9 and there is only one knife with which to skin him. Chris asked if
10 paludis can build a release (meaning an official Gentoo release), which
11 means following the Release Guidelines to the letter. That involves
12 things that you clearly state that paludis either cannot or will not do.
13 Your answer boils down to "Paludis can (or will be able to) build
14 something that would work in a similar fashion to an official Gentoo
15 release insofar as it has the ability to facilitate an end-user install.
16 It does not now nor will it ever be able to create a release according
17 to the Release Guidelines." In effect making your answer "No."
