After emergeing the binary kdebase package on my rc5 system |

(rc5 installed either from the binary i686 CD or from the |

build CD) I find that when logging in as a user I am missing |

several of the icons in the panel that show up when logging |
| 5 |
in as root (the konsole, kwrite, konqueror, etc icons) and |

konsole doesn't seem to be using the "--login" option that |
| 7 |
I added to /opt/kde2.1/bin/startkde (meaning that /etc/profile |
| 8 |
isn't sourced, although it _does_ get sourced when I log into |
| 9 |
KDE as root). Achim doesn't have this problem, although I don't |
| 10 |
know if he was using an rc5 system when he tested. Is anybody |
| 11 |
else having this problem? |
