I'm getting the exact same error from a build-ix86-1.0_rc6-r14.iso |

downloaded on 12-22. I think it's building sysvinit but the screen goes |

by too fast for me to tell. Did you add any USE flags? The one I added |

don't seem related to the crypt library. |
