The name 'enp5s0' has shown up after > 1 restart, |

so that seems to be what my kernel (gentoo-sources 3.5.3) calls it. |

So I've done what I understand to be recommended, |

but have to go thro' a stutter before I can get the I/net working. |

I really don't want to have to spend an hour or more |
