Where in the doc does it say this? The doc I'm looking at (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/build.html) has "/usr/src/linux" (Code Listing 14.2). Maybe the doc used to say this because several people have mentioned the same thing. |

In the x86 install doc it states that a selection of kernels is provided in the stage3 tarball in usr/svcs/linux. There appears to be no such directory after installation. |
