gconf processes are killed before installing gconf 1.2.0 in the final |
| 23 |
stages. |

CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK means that the directory is -not- protected (masked |

from protection) this is because of osme very bad experiences with old |

schemas being applied and installed to new packages due to configuration |

protection. |

System monitor seems to be related to Gconf issues. |

One solution that -might- fix the gconf issues is : logout of X, gnome, |
