While working on pre4-r4 with ferringb and working with the aftermath |

of pre5 release, I've noticed that the mga module has been continuosly |

causing bugs to popup. mga module users have even been prompting for |

such an action (see Bug #57138 for an example). This action would |

involve: |

1) Removal of matrox use flag and all related components from mplayer |

ebuild. |

| 13 |
2) tarballing the mga driver directory and placing it on the mirrors |
| 14 |
with the same release version as the mplayer it was packaged from |
| 15 |

| 16 |
OR |
| 17 |
|
| 18 |
downloading mplayer and simply building the mga driver folder. |
