Kamil,

Thanks very much for your offer to distribute Gentoo Linux in Poland. Here are
my thoughts on the subject.

Right now, Gentoo Linux is at 1.0_rc6 and we feel that it needs a couple of
more months before reaching 1.0. So I do not want to focus on a boxed product
right this moment; maybe 3 months down the road would be a good time to start
thinking about this.

Also, because the Gentoo Linux sources and binaries are freely distributable,
there is no legal way I can give you exclusive rights to Gentoo Linux in
Poland. You probably know this already, but I thought I should say it just in
case.

That being said, it would always be possible for us to do an "official" boxed
product release in Poland with your personal help, and with you acting as the
sole distributor for this official boxed product. As long as we are talking
about a "Gentoo Linux, the official boxed software product", rather than
"Gentoo Linux the operating system", then we are on the same page. And of
course we would certainly appreciate the opportunity to reach computer users in
Poland. Please email me personally (drobbins@g.o) and we can discuss
this further.

Best Regards,
