Hi folks, |
2 |
|
3 |
|
4 |
I'm interested in arguments whether patches should sit directly |
5 |
within the portage tree or downloaded when needed. |
6 |
|
7 |
My feeling: downloading on demand is better. |
8 |
|
9 |
+ makes the tree smaller, saves space, saves network traffic |
10 |
- downloading lots of patches may take a little bit |
11 |
|
12 |
What do you think ? |
