1 The other replies in this thread have discussed compatibility of the GPL with
2 the new xfree license, but I'm not sure thats relevant to this case.

4 The xfree license faq http://www.xfree86.org/legal/licenses.html states that
5 the new license is not being applied to client-side libraries. IMHO GPL
6 compatibility of this new license is only relevant for server-side components
7 licensed under the GPL. Does that cover anything other than drivers?
