I am installing from the build CD, have been following the isntructions and have found |

a couple trouble areas for myself. |

I am building from the bootstrap-20010804.packages file. I got errors building |

diffutils, and sharutils. The error in diffutils was fixed by rerunning |

emerge system, and the error in sharutils was fixed by bringing over makeinfo |

from another box, but I stopped there because I didn't want to build a broken |
| 8 |
mess.. |

Has anyone else come across this problem? Right now Im building the previous version. |
