Have you filed a bug? That is usually the best way to get things |

fixed. You could even attach the patch and a modified ebuild to the |
| 11 |
bug, which would mean all a gentoo developer would have to do is check |
| 12 |
the ebuild for correctness, then test it before applying it. |
