Because XML requires a whole new bloated, slow parser, and the python |

parser is fast and the syntax is lean and mean. Also, if we port to |

C, it would be more effective to support "python-style" dictionary |

definitions that include and entire XML parser. Also consider that |

XML has no equivalent of python dictionaries. |
