Hi, |
2 |
|
3 |
In order to support building for LoongArch in ::gentoo while some of the |
4 |
necessary bits are not upstreamed yet, recently it was discussed in |
5 |
#gentoo-toolchain that a new USE flag "experimental-loong" is to be |
6 |
added, force-masked on every ARCH except loong, that would bring the |
7 |
LoongArch patchset. |
8 |
|
9 |
The patchset is already integrated for sys-libs/glibc; this patch series |
10 |
takes care of sys-kernel/linux-headers. Also the mask is added for extra |
11 |
safety. |
12 |
|
13 |
For people more comfortable with GitHub workflow, this is also posted at |
14 |
https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/25162 . |
