to build perl support inside postgres it needs the shared version of |

libperl (libperl.so). If I understand it correctly, it's |

performance-wise not very recommended to build libperl this way as a |

system-wide configuration. Is there a clean way around this instead of |

having to re-compile perl with a special ebuild just for my system? |
