11 No. It isn't. We've added unionfs support for CD boots, not for normal
12 installations.

17 As for non-CD unionfs support, I don't have a clue whether we would want
18 that in genkernel or not. Currently, we don't advertise the unionfs
19 support in genkernel because it is still under heavy development and
20 isn't guaranteed to work.
