7 First, you need to take your question to gentoo-newbies as gentoo-dev is for

10 Then, find out what kernel module your scsi controller uses. Try <name of controller>
11 and <linux module> in www.google.com Please change <name of controller> to the actual
12 name of your controller, eg adaptec 29160

15 modprobe <name of controller>
16 modprobe sd_mod
