8 i like doug's idea. gtk/gtk2 have a bit obsolete meaning. i bet there're
9 plenty of users, who would like gtk2, but not gtk1 aplication on their
10 systems. i don't think that leaving worse solution instead of making
11 changes just becouse it's easier is good policy.
12 about confusion: what about leaving 'gtk' flag for some time and make it
13 the same meaning as 'gtk1'. additionaly - each ebuild, which make use of
14 this flag could print some information, that it's obsolete and will be
15 removed in near future
