glibc-2.2.4-r6 has been fixed and should now work seamlessly for everyone. |

The problem was that I removed some special pre/postinst steps right before |

committing because I thought they wouldn't be necessary with the new |

Portage, but I was wrong. They've been added back and I've just performed |
| 7 |
a glibc build/merge in a chroot environment using the latest build image. |

It should also be possible to upgrade glibc-2.2.4-r6 when you're doing |
| 10 |
lots of other things, like hangin out in X listening to music. However, |
| 11 |
while this worked for me last night, it hasn't been extensively tested, |
| 12 |
so be careful. |
