thx. i tried both ways but did not succeed. i even re-installed |

it from the binary iso several times with very non-deterministic |

results (kernel panics, lots of symbols missing). i am pretty |

close to give it up now. perhaps i should wait for v1.0 or until |

someone of the developers succeeds in running it on a vaio 505. |

it's a pity. i'd really like the concepts of gentoo linux. |
