[gentoo-dev] revdep-rebuild testing

All:

Since revdep-rebuild is no longer being maintained by the original
author, I volunteered to work on updating and maintaining the script.

I have finished the first version of what I hope to be the next release
of the script and I would like to have it tested by a wider audience to
discover any issues or problems.

If you are interested, please do the following:

emerge -pv gentoolkit and make sure that you are running 
app-portage/gentoolkit-0.2.0_pre8, if you are not please install that
version of gentoolkit.

Secondly, go to http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62644 and read
comment #2 which documents the changes that I've made to the script. 
Then download the script from bugzilla and use it like you would
normally use revdep-rebuild.

Finally, if you note any problems or issues, please add them as comments
to bug# 62644.  

I would prefer that any questions about usage or functionality be asked
as a reply to the thread in gentoo-user so that I can respond in public
for others to see.
