I was wondering about the way unmerge operates: does it remove the |

packages dependinf on the one we want to unmerge? This question is |

particularly meaningful with regard to how upgrading works. If I had, say, |

kde 2.2 and wanted to upgrad to kde 3.0, I would first "emerge kde(3?)" |
| 7 |
and then unmerge the old kde with "emerge unmerge kde". But would this |
| 8 |
take care of removing ALL packages depending on the old kde? Or would I |
| 9 |
have to remove each of them manually? |
