We had no developers that handled NNTP related packages. The packages were |
8 |
maintained on a volunteer base by various developers. I've recently set up |
9 |
the net-news that will take care of these packages. The inn security issue |
10 |
and version bump is being handled in bug #29020, see |
11 |
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29020. And there is alread a new |
12 |
ebuild submitted. Once I've done with the current stuff, I'll get to the |
13 |
inn issue. |

As makedbz is only used for creating the history file for inn, I think |
23 |
that /usr/lib/news/bin might be the better place. But this depends on |
24 |
personal preference. |

I'm redirecting this to the dev mailing list, as portage-dev is only for |

portage related discussion. |
