The Gentoo Java Team held their March meeting this past weekend. At |

which time a new team lead was elected. |

Petteri Räty ( betelgeuse ) was unanimously elected as the new Java Team |

Lead, taking the place of Joshua Nichols ( nichoj ). Josh has done an |

excellent job over the past year or so. Tremendous thanks goes out to |

Josh for all his hard work. Josh will remain as secondary lead of the |
| 8 |
project and team. |

It was decided that the Java Team will meet monthly, on the second |

Saturday of every month at 2000 GMT. (Sunday in some time zones) |
