2 Since unser feedback will be rare, one could also consider using the number of downloads of the source as a indicator of "testedness" - this could be done on the gentoo mirrors (that would be hard to implement).
3 But wouldnt it be fairly easy to let emerge poll a site on gentoo.org before downloading the source?
4 A package with many downloads and no failure reports can be considered pretty stable.
5 This might also be interesting to take into account as part of GLEP 19.
