| 3 | I have the pleasure to announce that we've finished working on both |
| 4 | the specification and implementation of EAPI 8, for Portage and PkgCore. |
| 5 | If everything goes as planned (which primarily means Zac reviews |
| 6 | the patches), EAPI 8 should be ready for approval on the next Council |
| 7 | meeting. |

| 9 | This is also the final call for feedback and comments. If you have any |
| 10 | additional *tiny* ideas for EAPI 8, this is the time to speak up. |
