12 The ~* trees are _testing_ trees - they are not for _packages_ that're
13 unstable necessary, but rather for testing out things going into the
14 tree (or being unmasked) before they hit the majority of users. It
15 provides a test-ground for ebuilds.

17 Nothing should ever be committed or unmasked directly into stable
18 without first being in the ~arch tree.
