You have to ask the one who implemented that. Maybe it was for |

performance reasons (dynamic-deps cause a lot of overhead |

themselves...), maybe just because it was hard to implement it |

properly. |

Feel free to provide a patch. Just please don't forget that you |

shouldn't write the updates before emerge finishes updates or starts |

depclean on relevant packages, so that the installed package dependency |

tree doesn't end up being broken. |
