Alright, ever since I first installed Gentoo, I've had problems with the speed of NFS. After doing some reading on nfs.sourceforge.net and other places, I tried increasing rsize and wsize to their former defaults of 8192. This indeed helped some, but on higher bitrate music, (160 somewhat, but 192+ especially) there is still a lot more skipping than there was when I used Debian. I honestly don't see why there would be more skipping, as I didn't see any skipping/studdering in Debian. Anybody have any ideas/suggestions? Achim? ;) |
