As you probably have read through the news, we were selected for Google Summer of Code once again and were allocated four projects for the Google Summer of Code for 2022. |

The projects that the contributors along with a group of mentors will be working on are: |

- musl support expansion (focusing on KDE) |
| 9 |
- musl support expansion (focusing on GNOME) |
| 10 |
- RISC-V support for Gentoo Prefix |
| 11 |
- Refining ROCm Packages in Gentoo |
| 12 |

As part of the introduction to the Gentoo Community, we will be holding an IRC chat this upcoming weekend and are inviting the Gentoo Developers to join us and chat if you would like. |

There will be two (2) time slots to fit the multiple time zones of the contributors: |
