The build image will not be including the 2.4.18_pre3 kernel, as it has |

some xfs issues, but that doesn't matter anyway. We don't need a |
21 |
cutting edge kernel on the build cd, just one that supports the features |
22 |
needed to bootstrap the system. Once you do that, you download all the |
23 |
latest and greatest ebuilds. We do now have a XFree86 4.2 ebuild, and |

I'm sure Daniel is working hard on a new kernel. Portage 1.8.5 will be |

installed when you emerge system from the CD. |
