Adding USE flags without dropping the packages is also an option; the |

mere reason we will be bringing the experimental patches [1] soon is to |

spare out on some of the duplicate work that is being done, if people |

want to continue to maintain a separate package then nothing prohibits |

That being said, I expressed earlier that USE flags feel like a bad |

idea though; I want you to keep in mind that, if you add USE flags, you |

effectively have a double opt-in since you need to enable the USE flag |

and then after that toggle the options in the menuconfig as well. |
