Hello,

Sorry I'm answering posts from quite a while ago.

I *believe* that it contains everything necessary, however I'm not sure.
I added it as a stop-gap measure because I couldn't get Mozilla to work
when compiled from source. I was unaware at the time that it had to be
run once as root before it could be run as a normal user.

Since I'm now using the mozilla (source) ebuilds, I'm not planning to
look into the question. If somebody using the mozilla-bin ebuild would
like to look into it, feel free.

An interesting thing about the mozilla-bin ebuild is that it doesn't
require Gtk+ or any of the other supporting libraries, since it includes
them. Otherwise I agree with you.
