9 Sure it was. Read the full thread that belongs to the message quoted
10 earlier: You had announced the EAPI 3 (what later became 4) branch
11 with the --d-d-t feature, asking council members for comments. Your
12 message mentioning econf --enable-dependency-tracking was a reply to
13 leio's question about the feature.

15 How else should one understand this, if not as a clarification that
16 overriding the default should be possible?
